The Village of Westchester is excited to announce the launch of our new Westchester Community Alerts system, powered by Everbridge, designed to keep residents informed with important, time-sensitive notifications.
This enhanced alert system will provide residents with critical information about:
- Emergency alerts - Immediate safety notifications
- Water main breaks & boil orders - Essential water service updates
- Severe weather - Storm warnings and weather-related advisories
- Road closures - Traffic and construction notifications
- ...and more! - Additional community updates
Important Notice: This is a completely new system. Even if you previously signed up for CodeRED alerts, you must register again for the new Everbridge system to continue receiving notifications.
Why register directly? While Everbridge utilizes a publicly available database to alert as many people as possible for public safety purposes, we strongly encourage all residents to register directly. This allows you to complete your profile and select your preferred delivery methods (call, text, email).
